There is nothing available on Amazon at all. Everything shows currently unavailable. Or may be I am not looking in the right place. Could you share a link?

GMAC has stopped issuing Offical guides in PDF format due to piracy issues. They have replaced pdfs with E-book. You can buy one here https://www.mba.com/exam-prep/gmat-offi ... ook-online or here https://www.efficientlearning.com/gmat/ ... /official/

Also, products on amazon are temporarily unavailable due to the lockdown. you can either buy it from the mba.com or you'll just have to wait till amazon re- opens(If they're offering a better deal)

You can get an online version from efficientlearning.com - that is the official platform for the GMAC‘s e-book access. You may also find the Kindle version on Amazon.

Keep in mind however did the new official guide is coming out in three or four weeks. It’s unlikely to be radically different. Traditionally, new additions have about 10 to 15% of new questions, so it likely doesn’t really matter but did not want you to be surprised.

Hi.
Can anyone please tell me where can I find pdf of the GMAT official guides? Those 3 books for 2020? Because of the lockdown, I can't happen to order it to online. I am just starting my preparation. Please help.

Yes. It’s perfectly fine and it has 70% of the same questions as OG 2021 and 85% same questions as OG2020. It is just fine :-)

Hi Guys,

Hi ayushsharma99,

The concepts that are tested on the GMAT have remained remarkably consistent over the years, so using a slightly older version of the Official Guide (in this case, the GMAT2019 book) would be fine. While the OG books are great sources for practice questions, but they're not designed to teach you Tactics, patterns or the little 'secrets' behind the GMAT - for those, you'll need Course-oriented materials. To that end, you might want to work on the OG a little later on in your studies.

Since you're just beginning your studies, it would be a good idea to take a FULL-LENGTH practice CAT Test; you can take 2 for free at www.mba.com (and they come with some additional practice materials). If you want to do a little studying first, so that you can familiarize yourself with the basic content and question types, then that's okay - but you shouldn't wait too long to take that initial CAT. That score will give us a good sense of your natural strengths and weaknesses and will help provide a basis for comparison as you continue to study. A FULL CAT takes about 3.5 hours to complete, so make sure that you've set aside enough time to take it in one sitting. Once you have those scores, you should report back here and we can come up with a study plan.

I'd like to know a bit more about your timeline and goals:
1) What is your goal score?
2) When are you planning to take the GMAT?
3) When are you planning to apply to Business School?
