I applied via Consortium 1/4. Received notification that my apps had been sent out to schools pretty quickly.

Rankings
1) USC - Marshall
2) UCLA - Anderson
3) Rice - Jones
4) Georgetown - McDonough

I already performed my interview for Rice through their diversity weekend. Pretty much waiting for admissions decision.

Georgetown contacted me about an interview. I have scheduled it for 2/17.

Still no word from UCLA and Marshall. Has anyone heard anything back?

I heard back from UCLA this week, but I have not heard anything from USC since their first email. I haven't heard of anyone from the Consortium hearing back from USC

I’m assuming you got an interview invitation?

Consortium - Application submitted 1/5 (1.5 hours before the deadline)
Anderson - Application portal/confirmation on 1/23, MBA decision update (interview) 1/25, Super Saturday event 2/6
Johnson - Application portal/confirmation on 1/21, MBA interview invite combine with Super Saturday event on 2/13 - received the email on 2/4
Ross - Application confirmation 1/14, update email on 1/27 stating interview invites will be sent out that Friday... no update since!

Good luck everyone!

Is Stern still sending invites? It's the only consortium school that I have not heard back from yet.

For everyone wondering about UCLA. I looked for the email I received from them, notifying me that my Consortium application was received. Apparently they are sending interview invites in batches through March. Please see below.

Interview invitations will be sent out in January, February, and March.

By March 26th you will either receive an interview invitation or a decision on your application.

Did anyone here get an invite for the LEAD event. Waiting to see if the process is different for consortium applicants.

I don't think it's different once you're in the event. From what I've read, we participate in all the same activities and get interviewed like a regular student!

As Consortium applicants, are we perhaps interviewed on a slightly different schedule than the rest of the applicants? For example, is there a dedicated "Consortium admissions review" team that is separate from the rest of the regular admissions review team at each school?

I'm wondering if all Consortium applicants will receive interview invites within a similar period (usually earlier) or if they'll come randomly throughout on a rolling process along with the rest of the applicants.

Consortium applicants are treated as regular applicants because there is no impact on your acceptance if you're applying through Consortium or not. Otherwise, it wouldn't be fair to other applicants. So we go through the same AdComms too.

For the FELLOWSHIP, there is a separate decision by the school and Consortium. Hope that makes sense!

This info is from reading the Consortium page and talking to alumni and current Consortium students!

I did a quick look online. I believe it's different - Super Day seems to only be for Consortium applicants and happens in mid-February. LEAD is for the Park Fellowship and it's in early March for a 1.5 day event. So i haven't heard anything about going to Super Day all mine said was LEAD. :\

I heard that Rice Jones hosted an event for Consortium applicants and those who attended will receive their admission decision early. Anybody have any insight into this?

I didn’t apply to Rice, but I believe that most Consortium applicants receive their admits a little earlier than other applicants this round, due to the Consortium draft.
