Are current affairs questions asked in the interviews? Also for a consulting career goal, what are the types of questions asked?

Hey, I received an email saying that the interview is rescheduled. Those who had received this email last week, when did you receive the new date and time and for when?

Also, the meeting link is still active on the pgp results page.

That’s reassuring. I hope your interview went well.

Was your original meeting link still active on 26th?

I submitted my application on Jan 3 for Round 3.
I feel my GMAT score might be a deal-breaker. I just hope they see my overall work experience of 5 years at the investment banking firm as something worthy enough to be called for an interview.

Best of luck everyone.

Hi,

i have been a silent observer for a while, so thought ill put out my experience also up here, in case it helps..

I applied in R1 this year and got an admit in mid December..

Profile:
Commerce Grad (Lady Shri Ram - Delhi University)
Work ex - 4 years IT Consulting, Big 4
GMAT: 690 (Q47, V38)
Interview - October. 3 panelist, all alums. Interview was on the lines of my application and work ex mostly..

@Jammer - Even i thought my GMAT is low and would be a deal breaker, but i made it, so i guess, keep your spirits high.. GMAT is just a part of the whole package.. they look for well rounded personalities..
I used an alum's help for my application and interview and that I think was a huge difference. My friends who were in the same boat as me, used some established b-school application guidance consultants and din get 1/10th of the time and attention that I got from the alum directly.. it was a good confidence booster. he was referred to me by another applicant, who also made it thankfully, to the new batch..

Hello Everyone,

I just wanted to know if it is feasible to apply for the ISB PGP'23 in the 3rd Cycle, or if I should wait for the 1st Cycle for'24 since I've heard on numerous forums that there's a very less probability of getting an admit in the 3rd Cycle as compared to 1st Cycle. Please Help me!!!

Edit 1: Profile- BBA Grad with 9,9,8 acads and 27 months of WorkEx in Big 4 consulting firm.

If you don't have a unique background or extraordinary profile, I'd say hold off till R1.

Why don't you put your profile for a review so that folks here get more clarity?

Well statistically, obviously, there are less seats left, so yeah there is less probablility of getting an admit for round 3 vs r1..

but u need to think when YOU have the best chance.. how good is your profile for this year.. can u wait for one year ? that's what you should consider..

I think everyone has a unique profile.. it's a question of how you frame it.. that's what my counsellor told me.. I considered my profile to be generic.. but he helped me see how to frame it well.. that made a lot of difference to my application and the interview confidence..

Of course, no two people follow the same exact path, so semantically, everybody is coming in with a unique profile.

You only have to look at the profiles to ISB and T15 to understand my point. There are more similarities than differences.

Every top school also makes its own subjective decisions in R3 and rounding off the class profile is a major priority in R3.
