Something that I noticed is that there were not too many interviews spots for booking. Considering that they interview around 1800 applicants in total. Maybe 900 in R2? The window was about three weeks for interviewing spots, maybe 8-10 spots per day. Unless they were interviewing different applicants at the same time, I do not see how they could interview 900 in three weeks. Is anybody else thinking this? This is based on the information that around 20% get invited to interview and 50% of those interviewed get an offer to attend (most consultants talk about these numbers).

I think the spots we see were based on who was interviewing us. For instance, I could only see spots for earlier in the day which is convenient as per India time zone. Similarly, I guess different people saw different slots open.
I wish HBS would stop sending so many emails everyday. Between the ebook, reminders to sign up for admission events, Africa conference, updating contact info, etc. It feels kinda torturous to receive so many emails and feel like I'm given false hope during this waiting period when I'm trying not to think about decisions for the next few weeks :/

Oh man, I totally feel you... this is not very nice. I do not get it why they invite you to participate in these events if you do not even know if you are going to admit you.
