According to an old post by Bruce Delmonico, around a third of applicants. It was an AMA with an alum with student club breakouts.

Hi guys, I asked Yale ad com for an update and below is the reply i received from them. "Thank you for your email and for your application to the Yale School of Management. Our Admissions Committee is still in the process of reading applications and inviting candidates to interview. With many applications to read, the Committee cannot extend these invitations all at one time. Instead, this process of reading and even interviewing will continue up to the decision date of March 25. Unfortunately, we cannot disclose your individual status until March 25; however, we can assure you that not all invitations to interview have been sent and we appreciate your patience as you wait. Haha, this is like a gmat question. If acceptance rate is around 20-25% then candidates invited to interview should be around 30-35%. I would say that 1/3 of the applicants are invited to interview. All based on the 70% you mentioned.

I think it is similar across top schools. HBS has an acceptance rate of 55% for those invited to interview. Kellogg does it’s own thing

Not really, this was just mentioned in the early part of the event, as the adcom mentioned it was sort of a networking programming for folks who have interviewed and 70% of folks getting interviews get converted. After that we broke into rooms for student clubs and came back for the AMA with an alum. Good event. Yale really does a good job with these kind of events, and in fact the adcom started it by going over fun facts about the folks who had interviewed already to give a perspective of applicant diversity, was fantastic honestly!
