I am considering Foster's program for 2022 (next year). For context, these questions relate to someone coming from an accounting background from a Big4's audit department, and potentially wants to switch over to a more Finance role within the company (more analysis based, and less journal entry, and compliance related roles).
1) For someone interested in the part-time MBA program, can you please explain how recruitment process for applying to jobs is different for that person as opposed to someone who is going full time? Are full-time candidates significantly more preferred to part-time candidates by the tech companies which recruit from Foster?
2) What is Foster's placement in tech companies for their MBA graduates? And what roles in specific have candidates historically usually been able to secure in tech Companies after finishing the MBA program?
3) Are there certain concentrations within the MBA program which places one at more of an advantage in increasing their chances of securing a role at tech companies with their MBA? (Perhaps based on certain skill sets within MBA candidates which tech companies usually look for when recruting from Foster).
4) Who are your main tech recruiters historically?
