R2 applicant, India/F, SaaS product management background. Submitted application on 9th January, completed video essay on 12th January, and got my interview invite.

Hi all, if my application status says ’submitted’, does it mean it isn’t under review yet?

Does Rotman send the dings on a rolling basis or all at once at the end of the cycle? Just trying to understand my chances here. I applied on 9th Jan and its been a month. The website says final decision is awarded by 9th March. So if I havent heard back, is it an absolute rejection? Posted from my mobile device

From what I have seen only admits & waitlist are provided on rolling basis. The dings they consolidate and send it on the deadline date.

See no one here actually knows about the process but the adcom. Even a current student or alumni won’t be able to answer what the criteria is or when the interview invites will be sent. People on forums just make assumptions about things they have absolutely no idea about which creates unnecessary panic. I have a friend who got an interview call 4 days before the R1 decision date. One who got a month before decision date. There’s no pattern and no one here can tell you what will or will not happen to you. Posted from my mobile device

I received a ding email from them a few days back. So i guess if your profile review is completed and they have the result ready, they’ll email right away.
