This is the reply I received when I mailed adcom for an update on interview shortlists: We are processing the applications in a phased manner. We will review your application and let you know the status (accepted or rejected). You can expect the results anytime until the 18th of November.

At this point, just sit tight, and hope for the best. They might be dealing with large volumes of applications (for just R1) or issues with YLP results (supposed to be out by 5th nov but not out yet) or it could just be anything. One says the decisions would be out from 8th on rolling basis, one says the roll outs would be sent out at once-on 18th, another person says by the end of this month. Its all chaotic. lot of miscommunications, too much info available, its all definitely chaotic. you’ll make through it, wish you good luck!

ISB Adcom is seeing a change in leadership compared to last year, and all zoom to in-person interviews also. So Adcom may be thinking differently then last years trends. Also, 18th Nov is being strongly communicated in all mails/site/adcom interactions (even 1 today). They would be trying to stick to it as final deadline.

Did anyone get an interview invite for this week?

Majority of the anxiety and confusion is created through our own minds and the analysis we do. ISB has almost everywhere maintained that you’d hear from them by 18th Nov. Let’s just wait before losing our minds. I know it’s very very tough but this is not in your hands. Whatever your job was, submitting a stellar and interview prep, you have done that.
