Yes, they're simply repeating "if you're shortlisted, you'll get an interview email". Not divulging any other information like whether interviews are still going on or whether the interview shortlists are still being rolled out.

What I think is that they have a two-stage selection for applications. Everyone who was suitable in stage 1 was sent an interview mail. The 2nd stage is still under progress. Thats y few have been shortlisted later.

I am not quoting anyone, just my understanding. Could be wrong.

From my interactions with adcom, most ’maybe’ and up are shortlisted for interview - its because they want to give the benefit of doubt to everyone and interview might be a chance to solidify your candidature for the program or redeem an otherwise lacking application.
So I wouldn’t imagine that they do a phased interview.

I’m guessing a lot of people might have not been around their prefered interview location at time of the interview, so they might have requested adcom for a deferred interview date and hence they are extending interview timeline by another weekend

I've got only one communication on 2Oct that evaluation would happen in a phased manner and have not received any interview invite yet.
Does that mean I'm rejected or does ISB keeps the application on waitlisted/ watch mode without an interview?

Requesting someone to please guide me.

Even I was not hopeful till around this time exactly a week back. but I got the invite. So keep your fingers crossed. I am sure ISB wont let us go if we truly deserve.
