Saying basis my own applications experience and through the collective experience of the people we have coached, dude - you can differ. Thanks.
With all due respect, what Manan has said is *exactly* what the AdComs say that there is a composite score that gets created based on the different parts of the application, including the interviews. So unless you’re saying that the AdCom is intentionally misleading applicants it’s simply not true that post the interview the rest of the application doesn’t really matter
With all due respect, what I was trying to say is that once the interview call is received, it takes precedence over other factors. I have attended my fair share of ISB adcom sessions and have observed this from the experiences of others and my own experience too. Thanks.
While I appreciate you sharing your experience, it seems to me that your PoV is that for two people who’ve made it through to the interviews, the person with the poorer profile but better interview will get preference over the candidate with better overall profile but poorer interview - From ISB shares about the process, there is simply no indication of that being a black and white truth.
It’s great that you are sharing your experience and advice with people seeking it here on the group, but I implore you to not present your experience as facts about the process. I am an applicant too, and depend a lot on the information that I can learn from forums such as these. For someone in my position, it is imperative that we see the difference between experience vs hard facts about the process very clearly before deciding how to use a piece of information.
Cheers!
