My topic was "Crypto currency such as Bitcoin must be banned. Each country has its own sovereign currency".

They drilled me on this topic for over 70% of the time. I took the stance against this and they wanted to make sure I change my stance. I remained on my stance till the end though they were visibly were a bit disappointed that I didn't.

Started talking about my career and asked me what happened to the layoffs at my company. Basically they also commented that I was redundant after I told them that I developed automations.

They asked me why I changed 4 jobs in 4 years. I explained them about it.

They asked me about my short-term goals. I explained to them, and while explaining, they cut short and were like 'okay, cool thank you'

The previous interview was about 40 mins. Mine was around 25 mins. I think I messed it up as they looked quite bored when I was talking.

The same with me. It lasted just 25 mins. They did seem disappointed that I did not change my opinion. Their facial expression really worried me.

Same bro/sis. Unfortunately, we will have to wait for 12 days (or more). :'(

Interview experience :

3rd candidate in panel 2 in Delhi on 23rd Sep 2023.

Started with extempore - women’s reservation bill is of no use as it will give rise to nepotism and proxy.
6-8 min of discussion with them arguing against me and me accepting their points politely but still standing my ground of supporting women’s bill saying that we have to start somewhere and this is the first step.

Why MBA ? Told

Why IIMA ? Told

About work ex around 2-5 min of discussion

Discussion of women in defence. Why no women on ships ? I answered with valid points. They said that we have to at least start somewhere. I said you’re right sir, same goes for women’s reservation bill. They laughed and agreed finally.

Any questions for us ? Asked

End of interview. Total time 20 min. Last question they took 5 min to answer, so overall 25 min.

No stress questions. Overall good discussion and nice experience.

Hope this helps

All the best for your final results. Do they give extempore topics on fhe basis of your profile or are they random

Does the waitlist of IIMA work like IIMB? A consolidated one at the end of 3 rounds?

Yes, it gets clear at last at once... not on rolling basis like IIM C
