Hello everyone, anyone with 650 GMAT score and 8+ years exp in IT has got an interview call? I am in dilemma whether to retake GMAT and apply for R3 or apply with 650 and work on the essays and applications. Any comments will be of great help.

R2 Interview shortlist will be announced on 7 November 2023. R3 last date of application is 18 December 2023. This means, if you fail to make it to the R2 shortlist with your current score, you have good enough time to improve your GMAT Score and apply to R3. This comes with the assumption that if you make it to the Interview round, your GMAT score (w.r.t profile) is good enough (which is a fairly decent assumption, I guess!)
some IIM A applicants reported back with the topics I had initially predicted here on my write-up up- specifically Should India prioritize the G20 or focus on bilateral ties, and One election for India. You can find my tips and suggested topics in the first link toward the end.
Not sure if this will help anyone here or not but the graph here shows the average score of "Admitted" and "Admitted from Waiting List" candidates. It also shows the number of data points on x-axis as column chart.
And this is a Histogram of Admitted candidates from 2021 and 2022 years.
The extempore topics of other candidates besides me:
"Indian startups are often criticized for replicating Western products without much innovation. Comments." "Given the significance of mental health, is it advisable to consider discontinuing closed-book exams?"
My extempore topic: "Do you believe that MBA professors with limited corporate experience should be teaching students who come with significant industry experience?"
Guys who were interviewed past week please share your interview experience and extempore topics. It will help all including you, if you are not selected and apply again in R2. Posted from my mobile device
Can you share a link or page in gmatclub where people have shared their interview experiences for this year's interviews? I am applying for IIM A PGPX (for 2024-25)
