Thanks for sharing!

I checked the Kira practice questions and each scholarship had one 1:00min video and one 5mins written question. Su the practice and the actual questions are of different format?
Hello,

You do not need to adhere to the practice questions- they’re more so to give you an idea of the kira platform and has nothing to do with the actual question. The actual question prompt is there in the specific scholarship page.

The scholarship video was straight 3 mins recording? or is it like, say the question has 2 parts, 1st question, you have to answer for like 1-2 mins and second one for 1-2 mins?

Hello,

There is only one question that is to be answered for each of the scholarships. You can find the question in the URL of that specific scholarship information page.

Feel free to reach out to me if you need help in this direction.

For the scholarships that require a video submission with 2-3 subquestions, is it a one video of around 3 minutes total, or separate 1-minute videos for each sub-question?
For below question
Submit a three-minute video explaining how you have had an impact in one of the above-mentioned areas and how you plan to further contribute in this area before and after your studies.
It has 2 parts right,
1)explaining how you have had an impact in one of the above-mentioned areas
2) how you plan to further contribute in this area before and after your studies.

We don’t have any separate Imperial admits group
@919440393493 , first of all thanks for creating this community. It has been greatly helpful during the application process, no doubt!

However, I have a query.
I see a group for admitted students being created for almost all the US B-schools, and it’s pinned even if not asked for by the admits.

But in this group, it was requested more than twice and yet there’s none created nor any response.

I would tend to take it on a positive note, that this is been a small group with less than 50 people and hence not created.
But would like it hear it out from you, which otherwise looks like a bias.

I missed your reply. Tagging me would have been better. It is hard for us to track the messages in all the groups. Hence, tagging us is always a better option. I’ll create the admit group and let you know.

Anyone received scholarship?
Hey! As far as we know, most scholarship decisions for Imperial MSc programs typically start rolling out between late April and June, depending on the specific department and type of scholarship.

If you’re being considered for a departmental or automatically awarded scholarship, they usually notify candidates after the offer has been made, and that can take a bit of time—often closer to May or even early June.

For bigger awards like the Dean’s Scholarships, a few people might start hearing back by late April or early May. But from what I’ve seen in previous years, it’s totally normal not to have heard anything by mid-April.

If you haven’t heard back yet, don’t stress — it doesn’t necessarily mean bad news. Keep checking your email (and spam folder just in case), and feel free to reach out to the admissions team for an update if it’s been a while.

It has 2 parts right,
1)explaining how you have had an impact in one of the above-mentioned areas
2) how you plan to further contribute in this area before and after your studies.
You will receive the details on email about the required scholarship video assessment. Your video should be no longer than 3 minutes and must be submitted and recorded on Kira by the deadline date. There will be a short practice session to help you get used to the platform. You are expected to submit a single video addressing all parts of the prompt. There is no requirement to create separate videos for each sub-question, instead, integrate your responses into a single, well-structured narrative.

More details about the scholarships can be found on the ‘Fees and funding’ page.

For some scholarships, applicants who receive an offer, do not require a video response to apply, they will be automatically considered for the funding based on the strength of your application.

Good luck !
