There are consultants here to reply experience backed answers. But from the top of my mind. What will 595 accomplish in any school worth attending.

Not to belittle pr anything but try to hit atleast 30 points more than that. If you need any help uou can reach out to me. I have given the exam twice so kind of have a do’s and don’t of my own. Also not a consultant or a gmat expert here.

Hi indestructible,

A 595 is low for ISB and if you are confident of improving your score, you should not report this score.

As you are looking to improve your score, we encourage you to take 7-day free trial to our GMAT course. It may prove to be helpful.

Thanks and all the best!

Hi Atharva97,

675 is the median and while there is nothing like an "ideal score", anything above the median will give you a good chance of receiving an interview call provided your essays and story are in decent shape.

We encourage you to inquire with us so we can schedule a free strategy session for guiding you.

Thanks and all the best!

Hi WA@flx2803, You have good academics, you have graduated from tier I college, you have CFA level I - So the academics part is much better than average. ECs and social side is also rich - so no issues at all. In the work experience, just try to bring out something different than what most people with similar experience will bring out.

Overall, there is no sense to retake GMAT unless you aim for 30-40 points improvement which will create some sort of positive impact. You have great chances, if you are able to perform well in the interview. You will get shortlisted without any issues.

Best Wishes

Your profile is highly competitive for ISB. Your GMAT, years of experience, leadership, and extracurricular commitment (12 years of NGO work and national medals) position you very strongly against the peer group.

The only weak elements are your 12th and Engineering academics. However, they have been largely mitigated by your strong GMAT score and post-UG qualifications.

You are sitting at the peak of the Bell Curve when it comes to the average years of work experience at ISB. So, that's good as well.

Now, the biggest task for you is to ensure your essays clearly articulate the purpose and impact of your career thus far. Focus on crafting a compelling, ambitious narrative for your essays; connect the dots properly to bridge the past and future.
