2-3 questions on extempore and 2-3 on why MBA, nothing else.

If iim a third round is on 24 nov last upto which date I have to take GMAT? If I have to wait for official result to come in hard copy or I can apply with the same day raw score, the score after exam?

I filed an RTI last year and it was communicated that post you're shortlisted for an interview, it's 100% interview weightage and nothing else that comes in the final selection.

Did you file it for PGPX specifically?

Because if it were the case then their asking to write essays doesn’t even makes sense...

It doesn’t appear to be correct. This will give extraordinary power to only interviewers, considering govt nature of IIMs.
Also, interviews happens through multiple panels, it will not normalise the interview scores. Interview should have some weightage only.

I talked to Vikram Goyal (IIMA PGPX Admissions Head). He conveyed Interviews hold 100% weight once you make it to that stage. Spoke to him in person on campus. The professors will make the decision and they will then go to admissions head and they will decide on WL/Admit based on diversity, batch profile etc factors.
