I remembered the admissions specifically said in multiple events that you cannot apply both programs. Despite the system allows you

I think applying both may indicate that the applicant is not clear about their goals or career/education- just hedging!

Not true. Each program has a different admissions committee responsible for evaluations. In fact, they encourage applicants to apply to multiple programs simultaneously. In R2, Stanford allows candidates to apply to both the FTMBA and MSx programs at the same time.

15 Years, 100km World Champ, 35k Community, and still an MIT Ding.

I’m a serial entrepreneur with 15 years of experience. I’ve built a civic community of 35,000 citizens and represented my country at the 100km World Championships. On paper, I thought my profile was "un-rejectable," so I decided to go test-optional.

The Lesson: In the M7/Sloan world, your story matters, but the score trumps everything else. If the GMAT isn’t where they want it, the rest of the "world-class" resume is just noise. Don't underestimate the gatekeeper.

Hello, I'm not sure if this thread is still active, but I'm wondering if anyone knows if R2 invites will also be released on a single day like they were in R1 and in past years for R2 (see this thread). My confirmation email said that invitations or rejections would be sent by the end of February. I'd love to understand if invites have been rolling out already, or if they will be batched at the end of the month. Thanks for any insights this group may have!
Would love for someone to clarify on this as well, but based on the few results posted on 18th, it seems like some emails went out on the 18th, so it doesnt look like a batch process?

Just saw my invite in my spam. So, it does look like most invites go out on the same day. Appreciate any insights on the best practices for interview prep.

There is a session by MIT on 26th -, Feb. A good place to inquire

No point of digging once a decision is made. We should not burn the bridges. Our paths will cross multiple times.
