With 2 years of experience being the requirement, do your chances reduce having only 2 years of experience? Especially in a non-leadership role

2 years experience often doesn’t come with leadership experience.

But just think about why should you be given admission with 2 years while people with 4-5 years of experience are in queue???

And the answer is that a person with 2 years of experience should carry something distinctive to be visible to admissions committee more than other.

How do you gain that visibility is upto you.

either bring an exceptionally good GMAT score
Or
Bring something like sports/extracurricular achievements to bring some fresh outstanding story
Or
Bring something diversity in some way that becomes your credit.

Once you do that, you are in fair competition again.🙂

Have you been working overseas???

If that’s the case then your prime is very distinguished and you will get really good attention of Adcom

Regardless, you will contribute to diversity and that’s an advantage you should bank upon

You just try to stay above 645 if you can ... shift to GRE if gmat sounds hard mainly for Quant and DI reasons

Yes, my work ex is all overseas. I am hoping to move back this year with an admit. I have a GMAT booked for the first week of September but I am currently hovering around 615, will move to GRE for r2 if it doesn’t work out.

Four years of experience in which domain/company amisharmaa?

Undergrad in which specialization? Which college? Any extracurricular?

These things matter, you know:).
