Have their been any interview invites for people in the pacific northwest? specially around the seattle area? I havent seen any on this forum but the folks who applied from here might not be on the forum.... does anyone know if invites for seattle / pacific northwest have gone out already?
I don't think so. I'm hoping a few regions haven't received invites yet since I'm from Chicago and haven't seen any here either (except for the phone interview but that seems like it was a mistake).

If you consider San Francisco the Pacific Northwest - I havent received, nor heard of any invites going out. However, there was a comment which stated generally the Pacific Northwest invites come out the day following the LA invites - TODAY!
I love how some schools tell you exactly when they are going to release invitations. This way is like telling us they don't give a damn about us. Do you guys really think that they don't already know who they ARE NOT going to interview? This is just inconsiderate.
I recall from last years' threads that acceptance calls from MIT are made throughout January and not just on the decision date (which is not the case at most schools). Can anyone confirm?
could be. i was talking to another friend (currently a student at a premier business school) and was told that adcoms segregate apps based on nationality. all adcoms state that they do not have regional quotas, which is true as they do not have pre-defined quotas, but while selecting a class, to ensure diversity they will also not fill a class with just a few nationalities (even if the apps are better). think of it as a glass ceiling. only the best apps from each country will receive admits, not the best apps overall.

So what happens if you were born and raised in one country, have citizenship in another and live in a third? I hope they have a special category just for me!
I'm an R2 applicant though so still some time before I start worrying about it.

best of luck! hope figuring out your regional category doesn't piss off the adcom. else you know where your app file will end up.. (i know adcom isn't printing files this year, but had to say this)
Where oh where can my invite be? The Lord took it away from me! It's off by Boston so I've got to be good, So I can get my invite and then leave for school.
Where are people getting the statistics on open slots for the various regions?
from the interview scheduler app..
I presume this is only accessable for those whom received an invite? Anyone mind giving a status update for the various regions? or do you only have visibility to the one for which you are applicable?
I think this information would be GREATLY appreciated by all!
When I was registering for a phone interview the slots were the same as the on-campus ones and there were lots of them free. I'm not 100% sure they're the same, but I think you're losing hope way too early.
