Trickiest Inequality Questions Type: Confusing Ranges

This post is a part of the Special Questions Directory focusing on Quant topics traditionally neglected and not covered by conventional sources but still tested on the GMAT. Many of these are above average difficulty questions

Questions that fall into the category of "Must/Could be true" can be difficult to navigate, but there is a sub-group that proves to be particularly challenging. Despite appearing straightforward, these questions often lead to incorrect answers from students who respond too hastily. What's more, even after reviewing the correct answer and explanations, many still struggle to fully understand the underlying concept. It could be argued that among all question types, Confusing Ranges Inequality Questions tend to generate the most controversy.
