Trickiest Inequality Questions Type: Confusing Ranges

!
This post is a part of the Special Questions Directory focusing on Quant topics traditionally neglected and not covered by conventional sources but still tested on the GMAT. Many of these are above average difficulty questions

Must/Could be true questions are tricky in their own right but one sub-group of these questions is even trickier. Those questions seem easy and many students answer them quickly but incorrectly. Moreover, even after seeing correct answer and solutions, they have hard time to grasp the concept. I'd say that Confusing Ranges Inequality Questions cause most controversy among all other types of questions.
