There are really a few options here. 1. Some candidates (typically those with relatively fewer years of WE) are offered feedback in their ding. They can set up a call with admissions later 2. WL does not necessarily get feedback, but Tuck admissions is really warm n fuzzy and if you ask for it (in the Spring) they are somewhat likely to respond. 3. I know of at least one standard ding recipient who got personal feedback from Dawna this past spring. He's reapplying.

Waitlisted. Better than a ding I guess. :/

Per my ding from last year, feedback is given to the top 10% of applicants who are not admitted, regardless of their status on any waitlist. The offer of feedback was given directly on the ding notice. This year may be different, but I don't know anything to the contrary.
