This is extremely helpful, thanks! Just submitted the biographical essay right before the Jan 10 deadline.

Same. Finally all the t's are crossed and the lowercase j's are dotted.

All materials submitted. Does any one know if Tuck releases its decision before the notification date? March 15th is far.

I remember the Adcom team said you won't hear from them until the decision date (I know, far!), unless you've been invited to interview, etc.

Is it all over for R1 applicants who haven't received interview invites? I recall someone on this forum reporting they had received I review invite in December itself.

Posted from my mobile device

I think you may see some movement post 18th Jan. That's the deposit deadline for R1 admits, and based on the numbers, the school may invite more people to interview. Just a thought though

Hi str1dler,

Did u mean deposit deadline for EA applicants?
I don't think deposit deadline for R1 is in jan. If I recall correctly even the decision deadline is in early feb for R1 applicants

Has anyone else felt that the number of interview invites reported for R1 aren't that many?

i wonder if that's because the majority had completed the self-initiated interview.

As far as I know that's pretty much the case with Tuck, as a lot of emphasis is placed on the self-initiated interview, and invites are sent out to a handful of truly stellar candidates. I could be wrong though. And if you're internationals, no clue how that works

I second that. When I interviewed at Tuck in December, there were at least 10 people interviewing that day which was kind of surprising for a small school. I think if you don't self initiate, your profile needs to be stellar.

I take it that with ~3 weeks away to the release date of Feb 8th, anyone not yet invited to interview is not going to make it? Was wondering if a Tuckie might be able to shed light on this? (I.e. have you heard of any "last minute" interview invitations?) thanks!!

I submitted my application just in time for January round. I got a managerial role at a new company in November, and I've waiting for a good opportunity to take a few days off for self-initiated interview. That being said, I was told I cannot take any day off until early Feb due to recent the departure of two members. I live in Canada, which is only 8 hours drive to Hanover, however, I cannot initiate the self-initiated interview due to these circumstances.

I would appreciate if my fellow members can share some insights and advise me on this situation.

Not possible to fake a sick day? I think its worth the risk given the stakes :)

Question to admits who paid the enrollment deposit:
Does anything happen once you pay the deposit, other than the printable receipt becoming available & the "congrats you successfully paid" window popping up in your application?

That's all I got so far. I'm assuming that's o.k. but just want to make sure I'm not missing anything else...

I didn't get anything. Sent in my pic and housing app too. Received confirmations on those two but not the deposit.
