Yup they will tell you on the phone during the admit call and subsequently in your paper copy admit letter. Note that there is no mention of it online.

Do we get the admit letter via email as well or just a physical copy in the mail? I don't think I could wait for the mail lol

There is a generic congrats letter on the application portal but you have to wait for the physical letter.

They might start calling early next week? So you mean I need to be waiting on the edge of my seat for a phone call all week instead of just Friday? What are they trying to do to me? This is going to be the most stressful week in a long time.

They are starting early next week? Can anyone confirm?

On an unrelated note patience is not a virtue I possess in abundance.

Not sure where this came from but just to let you all know both EA and November round they started calling admits only a day before decision day. Definitely not "all week".

Yes. They will usually start calling a day before (and definitely not all week) the decision date to people who have been admitted. Ding candidates get to know on the decision date at 5 PM EST when they release all the decisions on the online portal.

Also, most US calls went out on the official date. And I wasn't actually called until after my status had already been updated online (decision day after 5pm). So you can delay your anxiety for a few additional days.

Tuck & Diversity  [#permalink]

FROM Tuck Admissions Blog: Tuck & Diversity
I just finished my last exam for the Winter term. Yay! Image

Courses, learning, professors – everything and everyone has been awesome. It’s amazing to look back and see how much you learn in just 2 months. Equally exciting at this time is to look around and see so many students buzzing with enthusiasm about the exotic places they are travelling to over the Spring break. Before I hit the roads (/air?), I thought I will share something that has been close to my heart.

Before you proceed further, just take a few moments to reflect upon what the word ‘Diversity’ means to you. ………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….

Just recently, all the attractive posters around campus prompted me to think about what diversity means for me. I first stumbled upon the thought that I personify diversity at Tuck through many different dimensions – as a female, married, brown person, South Asian, an engineer and more. For some time I comfortably convinced myself that I represented the minority. But after sleeping for a while on this thought, it dawned on me that diversity is a much broader concept. I realized that each and every individual around me personifies diversity – from my fellow students with diverse backgrounds to the security guard who drove me to Dick’s House the other day.

Every individual has a unique story about him/her that will enrich your understanding of life, if only you are willing to observe, associate and listen. That is the most beautiful way of connecting with and understanding a person.

Hence came my definition – “Diversity is about celebrating yourself and everyone around you.”

I have experientially learnt that being inclusive is a choice. And this choice defines who you are and what you will become. In the past 6 months, every day at Tuck has been exceptional – I have been overwhelmed, made uncomfortable, and challenged. All these experiences have made my learning and the journey more meaningful. Every student I have chatted with, regardless of demographic differences, expressed a similar satisfaction with their experience at Tuck. Appreciating diversity requires collaboration as a natural way of living. We, at Tuck, are very adept at that.

So, what do you think?

I said might start early next week and not that they will call ALL week.

Typically most acceptance calls go out the day before and the day of but they can start a few days before.

I should be dinged or waitlisted without interview since there's been no interview invitation.

Feeling a bit upset :-(

As far as I know yes, all the decision will be made available online by that time.
However, according to the previous rounds, there is a chance that international students will receive their calls tomorrow.

Ahah, believe me, I'm in your same shoes!
The only thing that works, at least for me, is keeping myself busy, no matter how.
Best of luck!
