Here's some data from the past few years of January round GMAT club Tuck forums:

2012: 89 applicants, 24 (27%) admitted
2013: 97 applicants, 21 (22%) admitted
2014: 135 applicants, 30 (22%) admitted
2015: 173 applicants. As of 1:41pm EST, 12 admits (7%)

The 2015 numbers are just way below those from previous years. It is certainly possible that this is just a really low-yield year (as happened in MIT's round 2 this year). However, I think it's more likely that there will be at least another 10-20 admits from this forum.

We should only focus on the number of admits since those should be somewhat constant Y/Y. The yields are skewed upwards for previous years because when people get rejected they often remove that school from their profile, thus artifically inflating the yields. Looking at numbers, though, and assuming people have been updating their profiles, it looks like there could still be a hanndful of calls coming. 3 hours...

cdgMBA92, I dig your style.

If they are going for a dramatic finish, they are executing it to perfection. Down. To. The. Wire.

I am an Indian applicant and not yet heard from Tuck. To the other Jan-Round Indian applicants -- did you guys interview with the admissions committee? If so, did you fly to Hanover or were you invited?

That's great to hear guys. I also flew to Hanover to interview. We all seem like stellar candidates, and it is great to hear that some of you were invited to interview. There, ideally, should be some amount of acceptances between us. Let's see... I doubt we'll now hear by phone, so perhaps by email?

I was invited. Skype interview with an alum. This has got to be the worst part of the process. The reapplication process seems like such a task at this point! Will be awake till 2:30am IST.

Could it be that the whole idea of super low international student acceptance rate in 2+ round is true?

I'm getting a little annoyed now.

I would think so too, except how come there was pretty much nobody all day who got accepted?? Either not one person posted here, or nobody has heard yet???

but there havnt been a lot of reported calls for Jan round....I think its the lowest that I have ever seen on gmat club forums on decision of colleges/rounds..might be that my sample space is small
