Any internationals from India got interview invite?
It's been barely 2 weeks since the deadline. I honestly don't think they will send invite to anyone for another 1 week. Otherwise, how'd they know that how strong the current pool is?

Is it common practice for interviewers to hand out their business card at the end of a self-initiated interview, and tell interviewees to email them if they think of anything else?

Handing out a business card is pretty standard.

I can imagine. I'm just over-thinking it. But I got nothing else to do!

We all love Tuck, but only 280 fortunate will find their feelings reciprocated... so sit tight and prepare few backups...
I have already started to work on R2 apps; work does take the bite out of waiting period... :)

for those in EA who have an interviewed scheduled but not completed yet, just a heads up my application status changed from "submitted" to "complete" the day after my interview this week. so for those in that boat who are wondering why their apps still say submitted, the interview is probably why!

for those without interviews scheduled, sorry this is probably no help

Mine is still saying submitted, I actually had my interview before I submitted, so I'm not sure.

Anyone have theirs change to completed before completing the self initiated interview?

Well actually it's probably around 500 that get the love from the school.

I'm also still just sitting here at application submitted, hopefully that changes soon!

You, my friend, made me a bit more positive about my chances. I so totally had forgotten about the mighty yield rate... ;)

No admissions decisions have gone out yet? When do you guys think they'll start? I'm already interviewed and submitted and told my app was passed to an adcom but at the info session they said it could be any time before 12/18, ugh.

I really wouldn't expect anything before 12/18, maybe look at last year's thread and see if anyone was notified before the decision date.

Yup.. last year's thread was spot on that one...
you're done with submission..
you're done with interview...
then, you gotta wait until Dec 18 ... Tuck doesn't relieve early, like HBS does...
May be they should, so that the candidates may work on R2..

That's weird because they told me specifically it was BY 12/18 and not ON 12/18. I made sure and had them clarify that. ugh

They probably reserve the right to let people know at any time. But probably need the full 2 months to not just assess each candidate, but see how the class profile looks when all the students are put together.

hmmm... that shouldn't hold them back from releasing the candidates who in their opinion doesn't fit. Look at HBS, they get much more applications, but they release the candidates mid-cycle.
Although HBS is the only school, that I know of, that is doing this. But it is also the one which initiates a lot of trends in MBA applications procedure. Who knows may be in next cycle, half the schools follow this trend and update their policies.
To be honest, it's a very humane policy (towards candidates).
