East coast applicant here heading out to LA for my R2 interview this Saturday. I've never been to LA so does anyone have any suggestions on places I should make sure to see or things I should definitely do while I'm out there to get a good sense of life in LA? If admitted, I'm not sure I'd be able to swing another trip out west for admitted students weekend, so I want to make sure I can get a good feel this time out.

I received my Rd2 call / email on Friday. Haven't seen anything regarding scholarship info. Should I assume I didn't receive anything or has anyone heard of people hearing a week or two after their admit?
