5/7..... :)
For 3rd
I was confuesed between
(A) open-mindedness combined with a concern for rigorous standards of proof
AND
(C) bemusement at a chaotic mix of theory, inadequate or spurious data, and calls for scientific rigor

Eventually chose the wrong one.
C goes a bit out of scope I guess with "bemusement".....eh?

For 5th
confused because of this "more than one" phrase.
damn it!!

Thanks abhi758.
I am planning to practice 2 RC per day for coming week and then will look for the available date.

By the way , all of my RC posts so far and also the ones I will post in coming days are / will be from LSAT package.
So , its a really good practice. I am glad I have you guys to discuss with. Thanks for sharing your answers.

Correct 5 out of 7

Wrong , 1st and 5th

Questions :-

For 1st - Why is E wrong and Why is A correct ?
For A - The most convincing such report concerns the asteroid Herculina, which was due to pass in front of a star in 1978. Astronomers waiting for the predicted event found not just one occultation, or eclipse, of the star, but two distinct drops in brightness - Passage does not state that Theorticians were also waiting for this incident ? what did i miss

For 5th - What is difference between D and E ? I marked E and correct one is D? Confusing :(

Can some one help?

I got 1 incorrect which was question 1 (my answer was also E) so I can't help you with it.

With Q5, look at the following sentence:
"Even if every asteroid has as many satellites as can be fitted around it without an undue number of collisions, only one in every hundred primary occultations would be accompanied by a secondary event"
This means 1/100 primary occultations has 1 secondary event.
After the Herculina event, secondary occultations became more commonly reported, this means more than 1/100 primary occultations (or at least 2/100) were reported to has 1 secondary ocultations. This is answer D.

In E: "In more than one out of every hundred cases, primary occultations were reported to have been accompanied by more than one secondary occultation".
This might mean 2/100 primary occultations has 2 secondary occultations(more than one), this is the same thing as 1/100 primary one has 1 secondary one.
