ankitsign7, seems you have a decent gpa/gmat, curious, why didn't you attack some of the big schools? with my not so cool record, i attacked UIUC/Owen/Olin/Kelley/Ross/Booth. So far, i have heard back from two schools with interview invites... UIUC & Ross. I feel very good about my not so perfect file, i should get interview invites from the last four schools soon.

And my other question from the other day, how much scholarship cash did UIUC give you? I'm interviewing at UIUC Feb 20.

Ready not, here i go! My interview is set for tomorrow, on-campus! I will sure report to you all how things go. It's set for 2-3pm, yep 2-230pm, the interview, 230-245pm, break, 245-3pm, the case study interview.

One of my referees was wondering what kind of recommendation template to use whilst working to submit a recommendation for my application.

I believe Urbana-Champaign does not have a set out template? Could someone please tell me what they know on this?

Hello,

Have your recommender cover the below topics :

1 Relation with applicant i.e., "you"
2 How long is the association with the applicant
3 What are the strengths ? One or two examples concentrated on those strengths
4 What are the weaknesses that are overcome or that the candidate has put effort to overcome. An example or two for the same. (Please make sure he focuses on something that you have put considerable efforts and have actually become better at).
5 How strong does the recommender believe that you are an ideal candidate for an MBA program and how motivated are you towards getting an MBA.

I guess this would do it. Request your recommender to keep it short yet informative.
