Got it. Thanks! Marshall will be in high demand due to their STEM designation. They also shot up in rankings last year - surprise bump.
Scheller is a pretty small program... but it is absolutely free And seems to have a nice alum community. Having it cover you tuition and COL the first year is huge. You have a potential to come out almost debt free - that is very liberating. While there is no wrong decision, I would vote for Georgia Tech with the assumption that you will have to recruit completely on your own and off campus. You can use the money to travel to Bay area or wherever you want to take a recruiting track to. Consulting also seems to be well and alive at Scheller. They placed 22 folks out of 79. Marshall placed 52 out of 224.
In the worst case scenario, if you don’t get the H1B lottery, you can always apply for a one-year Masters in data analytics and spend 60,000 (Worst case) getting a stem OPT....
By the way if you are concerned about the ranking, well the reputation of the University of Southern California is definitely much stronger within the US, in terms of the rank, both business schools have been in mid 20s for a while and it was only last year that USC Marshall has shot up into the top 20.
If you are an international applicant and you have concerns about visa, a free mba is the ultimate answer to that. This is my initial reaction
