Background: In the first round, I am applying to schools ranked 11-19. I have several C's and D's on the undergrad transcript. My overall GPA is 3.4. Also, my major GPA for one of my two majors was actually lower than my overall. My GMAT score is 760. Please advise on how or if I should address the undegrad issue. Thanks!
Here is my general response to optional essays:
While my overall undergraduate performance is reasonably strong, I received poor grades in numerous classes. These grades do not reflect the best of my abilities. I have matured significantly since college, and I understand the importance of diligence in the face of adversity. For this reason, I was able to complete a Python diploma while working full-time in a quantitatively rigorous position. Further, I dedicated over 200 hours to GMAT preparation, allowing me to achieve a 760 score. If admitted, I will continue to push myself to be my best so that I can emerge from the program with the knowledge and leadership skills necessary for success.
