Hi All,
I have started my GMAT preparation journey about 4 months ago but studied and prepared GMAT seriously for the last 1 month.

My CATs are currently improving with the exception of RC:
GMATPrep 630 Q44 V33
GMATPrep 720 Q48 V41
MGMAT CAT 590 Q41 V31
GMATPrep 710 Q48 V40
GMATPrep 690 Q49 V35
*All CATs taken within the last 2 weeks

My Quant score improved a lot since I started studying but my Verbal CAT scores are quite random...I can have 32 one day and 44 the next day (I am taking 1 CAT every few days because my GMAT is booked in a week!)
My SC and CR are improving slowly but my RC is very very random and I always get confused on simple questions such as "main purpose" questions! Anyone can suggest me how to improve my RC? Any specific strategy?
Of course reading a lot would help but I am looking for some short-term advice as my GMAT is near. My target score is 700 and the fact that I am still scoring under 600 on some CATs is making me worry...

Thanks!

Hi
Throughout my journey i have read and used different RC's strategies given at gmatclub. But the thing that helped me was practicing 6 RC's daily (3 medium and 3 hard level). I used to revise my mistakes and learned from them. This helped me a lot. However, i am also posting links to some useful strategies that can help you.

https://gmatclub.com/forum/all-rc-strat ... l#p1162833 (this post has and attachement "RC tips and Tricks by carcass) its also useful

Don't forget to practice one or two LSAT passages daily. LSAT passages are long and help improving reading skills.
Hope this helps
