When one uses 'may', one is making no point and not taking any position. So there is no logical negation.
Give the link of the relevant question and I can explain what you need to do in it.

Hey VeritasKarishma
Thanks for such an effort to help us and for every respond you provided for me personally.
I have an issue with RC. I have studied various materials on gmatclub itself and from various prep firms as well. All the materials nearly focus on similar things (seems as because RC tasks are not so various as SC or CR), but in their own way. So now I see that the problem is not which strategy would suit me, but how to understand the passage properly. I have translated passages and their questions couple of times and seen that I can answer at least 3/4 of them correctly.
When it comes to original passages, everytime I get completely off the track by a few words, meaning of which I cannot get even from the context. I totally lose focus of the text, and as I read further, I bear in mind that word, worry about the fact I that I don’t understand one, so the next things I read I completely don’t comprehend. I don’t know what to do. I barely get half of the 600-700 questions right. It’s been a long way, I can handle most CRs and SCs. I had 680 back in december, scored around 80 on those mentioned. I didn’t score as good on quant because of anxiety as I started from quant so it was the first minutes of the exam. My RC was barely 50 percentile. How can I handle RC?

RC is not a test of your vocabulary so not knowing a few words will not hurt you. In fact, most people will not be familiar with some of the words in the passage but they deal with it. Usually, you can make out what the sentence is saying even if you don't know a word. If the word is critical to the meaning of the sentence, the sentences before and after it make the meaning clear. Even if you are still not sure, it is likely that your question won't be based on that part so why worry. Even if one question is based on that exact word, the rest of the questions will not be.
All in all, know that not knowing a few words should be the least of your worries. Focus on the overall scope, tone, organisation and purpose of the passage. Practice keeping these things in mind.

Responding to a pm on Boldface questions:
Quote:

Do you consider the role of just the boldface portion of the sentence or the whole sentence, i.e., the context in which it is used?

Delta Products Inc. has recently switched at least partly from older technologies using fossil fuels to new technologies powered by electricity. The question has been raised whether it can be concluded that for a given level of output Delta's operation now causes less fossil fuel to be consumed than it did formerly. The answer, clearly, is yes, since the amount of fossil fuel used to generate the electricity needed to power the new technologies is less than the amount needed to power the older technologies, provided level of output is held constant.

In the above stimulus, do we consider BF2 as
1. supporting the main conclusion or
2. a question which is to be evaluated or gives content of main conclusion

Think about it - this is the question stem of BF questions:
In the argument given, the two boldface portions play which of the following roles?

So you have to find out the role of the statements in the argument. So we are talking about the context in which they are used in the argument.

In the example given by you, BF2 is not supporting the conclusion. It gives the content of the conclusion since the question is answered with a yes.

What is the conclusion of the argument above?
Conclusion: For a given level of output, Delta's operation now causes less fossil fuel to be consumed than it did formerly.
