Hi cspencer90,

It's better to guess.
See #5 in GMAT Prep Software Scoring Analysis and What If Scenarios
Not Answering Last 10 Questions (ran out of time) 10 Wrong Answers
Result: Score - Q39. Percentile - 37th vs. Q49. Percentile - 75th

And another scenario:

Experiment: two scenarios:
A. Answered first 30 questions correctly and the remainder 7 questions incorrectly. Result Q50, 92nd percentile.
B. Answered first 30 questions correctly and didn't answer the remainder 7 questions at all (ran out of time). Result Q45, 71st percentile.

Hope this helps!

Hi all,

If you run low on time on the GMAT is it better to leave unanswered questions or to guess?

Thanks
It depends on how well you're doing at that point. If your score is low, leaving the remaining questions could be better than getting them wrong. Otherwise, leaving questions is not a good idea at all.
