Q48, total 740 - retake? (profile inside)

Question

Hi all,

After two months of studying, I scored 760s on the last two GMATPrep Exam Pack tests. I took the Online GMAT recently and got a 740 (Q48 / V 44 / IR 8).

The Quant score seems a bit low percentile-wise (67%). Is this something I should be worried about?

Also, is the lack of AWA on the Online GMAT a problem despite my liberal arts background?

Planning on grabbing a few more years of work experience & getting involved in the community before matriculating in 2022

if your post mba goal is consulting then your quant score matters otherwise you do not need to think much about quant score as q48 is not a low score by any stretch .top consulting firms like to see q50 and q51 .

740 is a great score! Also, although Q48 appears to be low (67 percentile), remember it’s only 3 points lower than the highest possible quant score of 51. So, I don’t think you have anything to worry about. Good luck with things moving forward.
