Hi Everyone,
Hope you are doing well and keeping safe.
I'd want to hear your thoughts on my GMAT exam, which is scheduled for September 18th (Saturday). Actually, I've been diagnosed with Dengue, and I'm currently in a situation where I can't sit and complete the exam for 3.5 hours straight due to a high fever. And it's possible that it'll get worse in a day or two, just around the exam day. I haven't been able to continue my preparation since Wednesday due to fever. My target score is 730-740, and in the most recent test on Tuesday, I was getting around 710 on the Official Tests and was hoping to improve to 730. To make this situation worse, the exam's test location is located in a city around two hours away, making it even more difficult for me to write the exam. As a result, I wanted to hear your perspectives on the best next step. The problem is that if I postpone the exam any longer, I will have to look for dates in November (as I am currently working and have taken two weeks off for the current exam date, I am not sure if I will get a week off at least until November), but this will bring me closer to round 2 of various colleges and thus less time for prep. I'm not sure if I should skip this semester or prepare my application for round two simultaneously. Or you might work harder on the GMAT score to get it above 750 and then wait for the autumn or next year's semesters. Here's a brief overview of my background:
Indian Male Engineer (Cgpa 7/10 from Tier 1 college)
Working as a consultant (ZS) - current experience of 27 months
Please let me know your thoughts or if you have any questions.
Thanks,
