Hi Gaurav,

To a large extent this depends on your career aspirations. What do you want to do after your MBA?

If we have some clarity on this, we can narrow down on some potential schools for you. It will be difficult to get into a top notch school - not because of your GMAT, but because of the fact that you belong to a competitive demographic.

Quality of work experience matters - what kind of responsibility have you handled?

Regards,
Karthik

Hi All,

I gave my GMAT last month and score 710 on the exam. (Q49, V38).
Though I am not so happy with my score, I know it’s not a bad score either.
I realize that a good GMAT score is only half the work done and major part of my preparation starts now but I find myself in very puzzled situation.
I’ve been working in an IT company (Infosys) for 3 years and have done my B.Tech from a not so good college but with a good GPA though.
I am not able to decide upon the schools that I should be targeting and also wondering if I should wait for another year and work on my profile.
Any advice would be very helpful.

Regards,
Gaurav
