If you are applying this year...round 2 is basically over for most, then you obviously should work on your application. R3 depending on the program you do have a very good score so you focusing on your application with maybe a late GMAT attempt might make sense. If you are waiting till next year then you have so much time you might as well re-take if you think you can legitimately score higher

Hi, I just finished my gmat test and was wondering if I can seek advice from any kind, experienced soul...while my overall score was 750, my quantitative is at 47 (only 67 percentile). Integrated score is only 5 (53 percentile). My mind wasn't completely thinking straight under the time pressure, panicked on the quant part, and might have been penalised for not completing both sections.

I am wondering if I should retake the GMAT or focus my efforts on the applications? I am hoping to apply to the top b schools. This is my first try at gmat.
The quant and integrated reasoning seem to cast doubts on my math and analytical skills...but I have passed all three levels of cfa on first sitting, not sure if this can give some redeeming points.

Thanks a lot for the advice!

Retake?? With a 750???

Really no need. The breakdown is a minor item in comparison to the importance of the overall score.

Best,
Jon
