Hi experts,
I have just finished applying for several schools in Round 2 with the GMAT score of 710 (after 4th times - please see my profile). As an international applicant, I find chance for other school in Round 3 is minimal. So I plan to retake GMAT one more time to improve by 30 or 40 points so that I could have better chance of getting a good scholarship at schools I applied.
My question is that could an improvement of 30 or 40 points (from 710) make any differences, especially when I plan to retake after get initial admission decision from school?
I highly appreciate any advice. Thank you!

I don't recommend retaking the GMAT if you have already gotten in. It is not likely you would get more scholarship $ if you show them a higher score after the fact. If you were going to apply to more schools, then a 740/750 would make a difference over a 710 but not for schools you already got into.

Another question is what makes you think you would be able to improve the 5th time?
That question aside, I would recommend to check with admissions. Perhaps there is a way to get some $$$ - they would know. But without any kind of a guarantee from adcom I would not take the GMAT again in hopes of a scholarship. Have you done this already?
