Hi
powarparamveer, Thanks for reaching out with your question. I'm going to give you my thoughts- but I also want to say that this process is not like putting a quarter in a gumball machine and then getting a green ball to come out- there is so much more to the admissions process than just a GMAT score and that's where a company like ours can help. We help candidates break out of the pack and position themselves in the best possible light. Your GMAT score is not going to get you on the fast track for an admit, but if other aspects of your package are strong you won't be categorically denied.
If you look at some schools with avg GMAT scores in your range, Mendoza (Notre Dame), Tepper (Carnegie Mellon) and McCombs (UT Austin) all come to mind. However that's not to say that if you do the research and make a compelling case that there are not other higher ranked schools that would give you a look. Your positives: international exposure with work in Japanese MNC, 2 promotions in short time span, Japanese language skills. The hurdles you face: What was your school? 3 yrs on lighter side of work experience, volunteer experience all very similar to those in your pool. So I'd focus on trying to shore up these opportunity to improve areas. We offer professional development packages that are targeted to people who want to work on weaknesses for a year before applying. The cost is very reasonable and we identify areas to improve so that in a year you can present a more compelling application. If you'd like to do a free consult to learn more, you can go to our stratusprep website listed at the bottom of this reply. Best wishes for you as you investigate options.
