I am looking for suggestions on the best schools where I would be a competitive candidate for a scholarship (this will probably be one of the most important decision factors for me)..
Below is a quick summary of my stats:
- 5 years financial analyst/sr. analyst position at major commercial RE brokerage firm.
- GMAT: 760 (Q48,V47)
- 3.4 undergrad GPA from top 25 school
- minor volunteer experience since college
- URM (Mexican - first generation)
- Should have good to very good recommendations.
My initial list of schools I am thinking about applying to are: Booth, Kellogg, McCombs, Jones, Stanford and Haas (mostly because of their locations)...
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Nice GMAT dude!!!
Well, with that score + your solid GPA + your background you are definitely in for some good schools.
I would love to know more about your goals and specifics about your experience to understand where you really stand (like who you worked for, what kind of deals, doing what leading people? etc. etc.) as.
But basically you should be aiming for top 10 programs and some like Jones McCombs to set yourself up for scholarship offers if that is what you are looking for (although I personally think it's still better to go to the better school)
Other than that, if you are gonna stay in Real Estate, Columbia with its real estate program makes sense as well.
