I have an admit from IE Spain, to which i applied with a 660 gmat score. The session starts this February '17.
But only recently(yesterday) i scored a better gmat(740).

I scored a 52.3% in a tier one college in india(gpa 3). I have a valid reason for my low gpa (my course was rolled back in 2nd year and restructured, it drastically bought down the class average).
My question is what colleges that offer mim/(other fresher management courses) should i target (having a better raking/placements than IE)
My guess- Hec, Instead and LBS(have very low hopes for these since i have a low GPA)

(my extra curriculars were good, i was into 6 P.O.R's and my venture served military clients. Also have a volunteering experience with scholars for change, IIM-A and an internship with Boeing at IIT-Kanpur)

First of all, congrats on the better GMAT score- that's a huge improvement! Now, some thoughts for you.... First- if everyone in your college has the lower grade- then maybe highlight your rank in the class and if that is really high then this grading scheme now has more context and you would find more schools willing to over look it to get the 740 GMAT.
Second- if you wanted to look in the US- you now have a score that can get you noticed. What I suggest is you look for schools that have been on the hunt to up their GMAT as they would probably be willing to put more weight on the GMAT and less on the grades- and since you don't have a US gpa anyway, it will matter less.
Ross is a school that comes to mind, as does Kenan-Flagler. I think schools in that 10-20 range would really give you a solid look.

I agree with Stratus Prep. Kelley has made it plain that they are very interested in getting their GMAT up as well, it's a little low with regards to schools in the same consideration set. They might even offer you money. It's hard to really definitively answer this question though because I do feel as though we need to know what your career Ambitions and goals are before telling where to go to school. I wouldn't feel like such a beggar with regards to the GPA situation, the honest truth is that the GMAT is of far greater import. Is there a specific reason you were focusing on European schools? Send over more information about what you're trying to do with an MBA.

Agree with the advices above, you need to share the context, and how you performed in relation to your peers, if you did well. Winning a selective internship could also show how you well you were doing.

Really appreciate your advice.
There is no specific reason for me applying to european colleges except for the fact that i have no full time work experience.
I have applied to fresher(MIM) programs in duke, hec and ie spain(matriculated).
I have done a certificate course in operations too, and i interned with boeing(a selective internship which i got through an abstract submission competition)
I have some volunteering(sponsored) field work experience too(developing digital educational content in association with IIM-Ahmedabad)
I did take part in a startup project and served many clients over a span of 2 years, however that cannot be counted as a fulltime work ex(though one of my professional reco is from CVRglobaltect pvt.ltd.,one of my long term client)

As of now i am scheduled to join IE Spain coming February(provided i do not get through any of the other colleges), but i am aware of the placement senario at IE and few of my seniors who went there couldn't land to a decent job there.
Is there any college in US that has a better placement prospects?(yes that is my only concern right now, not even tution).
