Should I retake with a 620 and low quant?

Total - 620
Verbal: 37 (83 percentile
Quant: 38 (38 percentile)

GPA: 3.78

The school I'm applying to has a average of 3.35 GPA, 640 GMAT (65% Verbal and Quant).

Do you guys think I should retake and try to bring up Quant or is my score good enough to get into my target school?

It's difficult to give judgement base on just your scores. What's your background? EC? WE? Career goals?

Low quant suggests to me that you'll struggle with core classes such as finance/acct which maybe trouble later on.

That said if your goals are towards a quant heavy side, I think you should retake and focus having your quant around 44/45. A high 600 (650-690) will give you a better shot towards the MBA or even apply to higher ranked schools.

I'm actually applying to a Masters in Accounting not to a MBA. As for my background, I'm still a senior in undergraduate with a major in Econ and Minor in Accounting. I have about a 3.95 in my minor in accounting and I have done fairly well in my calculus courses.

I don't have full time work experience but I do work part time for my school's general accounting as an assistant for half a year now.

Hey dude,
Yep.
If you believe you can get higher, you should retake.
Which means: yes, for sure, retake!
You have 7 months until applications are released which means you have a ton of time to study very very hard and improve your score. And that is EXACTLY what you should do.

You should definitely take the GMAT again and try for a score that is  BETTER  than the GMAT average of the school to which you are applying.
B-schools love diverse experience, but they love GMAT scores more!
So don't think about it, prepare and take the GMAT again!

You always want to aim to get higher than the GMAT to confidently apply to any school. Your high GPA and particularly your high accounting GPA will help you. But see if you can improve your score to maximize your chances. Don't want to regret anything once you submit your app
