It is suggested take GMAT on GRE and aim to score 700+ to make it up for your low GPA because of most of the schools accepts GMAT. A good GMAT score can show interest in academics while presenting yourself to the adcom with your application essay. If your planning to applying for EMBA or 1 years MBA look into European schools as their most of the B schools provide 1 year MBA. Changing the career after executive MBA would not help you much and it would be tougher as well: so you need to be careful while shortlisting the B schools.

You can know your chances of getting into any B-Schools by using our ingenious tool called “Chances Of B-School” by entering your profile details.

Hi,

Age:34
Exp: 12

Profile: Working as Senior Change Project Manager with Swiss bank in India.Previously managed a multi-national team in Latam (Chile) for 6 years working in Risk Reporting for Wells fargo .Other employers: Bank Of America and Accenture (domain :Business Intelligence, Data Management)

Bachelors in Engineering from mediocre College with low GPA.

Foreign language:Spanish.

GMAT,GRE : Not yet taken ?? (Aiming around 700)

EC:Toastmasters, CSR groups

I am actually confused between GRE and GMAT or EA. I find GRE to be easier than GMAT based on my research and grasp of current abilities but

Why EMBA or 1 year MBA : Finding it hard to grow without a masters degree; also need an Industry switch (done with Banking) and would like to move towards Tech Consultancy in the FinTech world.

Target Schools:
APAC: Nangyan, NUS
Europe:INSEAD, IMD
US: only STEM MBA programs

Will appreciate if you can guide what is better GRE or GMAT given my profile. Also which other EMBA programs school I need to look at .

Thanks,
Vikas

Hi Vika8415

INSEAD and NUS from this list may be tough bets at this experience level (they may suggest the EMBA instead).
