Hello Everyone,
I am an aspiring MBA candidate.
A brief introduction about myself:
I am an Architect in Mumbai with 21 months of work experience and 1 promotion so far. I have coordinated with consultants and clients alike and completed one entire fast tracked project as well.
My undergraduate GPA was 6.8/10 aggregate. I am a 2017 passout. My thesis topic was an automobile museum for TATA motors.
I am also a certified black belt in a karate. Throughout high school and college I have participated in co curriculars that require me to display my talents across acting, stand up comedy and playing the keyboard.
I decided that I want to do an MBA as I realized my inclination towards managing projects included technical finesse more than design capabilities. Hence I want to advance in my career and get an MBA from Canada in fall 2020.
I already have my IELTS score 8.0/9.0
I started my GMAT prep this March and after completing
MGMAT study guides I moved on o OG. However, the consistent and back to back wrong answers were frustrating me. So I took a prep course. However the same thing happened and now 24th June is the date of my exam and I don't wish to postpone. Given the fact that o have been scoring around 400 to 470 in the CATs, my question to you people is should I cancel my score? Moreover is it advisable to send it to 5 schools? Will doing any of the above hurt my chances of admission in any way even if I get a magnificent score in my next attempt?
Also will I be having any profile advantage if I am an Indian Architect? I want to strengthen my profile by getting GMAT score and later an MBA math course by Professor Regan. Do you those two will help adcoms in judging me that despite me not having an engg. background, I am capable enough to handle the MBA workload. Also I hope it's a known fact that Architects in general are accustomed to stress of workload throughout their college and job as well.
Please advise me on these parameters and let me know if there is anything more I can add on, or existing to be worked upon.
Thanks in advance
