Undergraduate - B.E - Electronics from private university in Surat in India. CGPA - 9/10 (college topper).
Graduate degree - Mtech - electronics From Indian Institute of Science (2nd highest ranked Indian university in QS World ranking) - GPA 7.2/8 (top 10% of class)
Work Experience - 10 years for Intel India. Worked as team lead for close to two years. Lead projects across multiple geographies involving more than 50 engineers. Lead team of experienced engineers to execute multiple projects. Experienced in working in multi-cultural environment.
Age - 34 years
Target Schools - Cornell Tech MBA, Cornell 1 year MBA, Kellogg 1 year MBA, NYU Tech, Stanford MSX
Extracurricular - 1. Provided Pro-bono technical consulting service to home robotic startup for product development. Volunteered at interior design startup for development of customer acquisition strategies.
2. Currently Vice President Education for a Toastmasters club; Organized educational programs for 15 members, planned weekly meetings and oriented new members.
3. Mentored multiple teams at IOT roadshows and hackathon programs.
Post MBA Goals: Would like to transition into product manager role in tech companies like google/amazon/facebook etc.
Please evaluate my profile. Do I need to change my target schools ? considering my higher experience and age do I still stand a chance to make it to the listed colleges. Or only way further for me is to go for part time executive MBA?
