Hi,
I'm a 23 year old software developer from New Delhi, India.
I currently have experience of just over an year, but I plan to apply in 2022, for 2023 fall intake (by that time I'll have 3 years of work experience)
Currently a major contributor in a project for the company that will provide the control and monitoring of entire infrastructure of organisation from a single place. Have built it from scratch.
I recently gave GMAT and got a score of 770. I was originally planning for MBA from Canada because of the diverse culture, ease of immigration and quality of life there. I wanted to move to Canada with my family, and lenient immigration policy in Canada makes it easier.
But with score of 770, I think I should try for Ivy League as well.
My background:
School - 95.6 percent
Undergrad - 9.05 cgpa, B.Tech (Computer Science) IIIT Sonepat, Tier 2 college (under mentorship of tier 1 NIT)
Extra curricular - Organised various cultural events, some of the largest North Indian cultural events with the Photography Club of NIT, have won various competitions in photography.
Have started working with NGOs and done some charity work.
Any suggestions on how should I proceed with applications and what schools should I target will be very helpful.

Thank you for sharing your profile. Your profile looks good on the surface. Starting with the stats, your undergrad GPA is good, and an excellent GMAT score. Congratulations!!
On the work front, the project you're working on appears to be noteworthy, and it will help you exhibit your potential and capabilities. And there will be many more experiences and stories coming from you before you apply. So, keep working hard. When it comes to your ECs, I can see you have a passion for photography. If you can include more stories regarding this, you will bring diversity to your apps. In addition, you may bring the narrative of how these experiences helped in building your personality.
In terms of business schools, Canadians and international students in Canada enjoy a good level of life. It's a great place to live and work. When it comes to quality of life, it ranks first in the world. The admissions procedure for Ivy League universities is extremely tough; you will need to meet requirements far higher than those of any typical public university. For instance, overall admission rates in 2020 were under 10%. If you want to lead a large business, hold a public position in government, or acquire a competitive edge in research and innovation, the Ivy League is your best bet. Although Stanford, M.I.T., and Caltech are not officially Ivy League institutions, they have a comparable reputation and social position. As you want to settle in Canada, then applying to Canadian business schools will be best for you, and with a good GMAT score, you may be eligible for scholarships as well. You may want to read an article on STAR approach strategies to ace your MBA application essays; you will get some insights.
Overall, your profile is good. Work on making your profile unique with the time you have in your hand to maximize your chances.
