The top 15-20 programs will expect you to have at least 3 years of full-time, post-mba work experience before matriculating, so you may want to wait a couple of years before applying. Also, you may want to spend this time improving your GMAT score. Take a look at the GMAT average of some of the schools that interest you. You will want to aim to be at or above the average, and most schools in the top 20 will have averages above 700.
