Do I have a chance to get into Wharton, Booth, NYU Stern, MIT Sloan, and Columbia with this profile?

Hey Rishav,

Your profile is quite strong, with a solid education background from a top-ranked college and relevant work experience in investment management, investment banking, and financial analysis.

Your GMAT score of 750 is also quite impressive and should help you stand out among other applicants. Additionally, your volunteer work and involvement in extracurricular activities demonstrate your leadership skills and community involvement, which are important qualities that many top MBA programs value.

Based on your profile, you have a good chance of being accepted into the MBA programs you have targeted (Wharton, Booth, NYU Stern, MIT Sloan, and Columbia). However, it's important to keep in mind that these schools receive a large number of applicants each year and admission is highly competitive.

Your chances of being accepted will also depend on other factors such as your essays, recommendations, and interview performance. I recommend focusing on putting together a strong application package that highlights your strengths and showcases your potential as a leader and future business professional.

If you need more help, we'd be happy to setup a call and give more pointers on how to improve your profile and the right schools you should target.

Based on your education, work experience and GMAT, it seems that you have a strong profile.

Academics: Your high CGPA from a well-regarded college, top 8% of your batch, high school achievements, and level 2 CFA show that you have a strong academic background.

Work ex: Strong point in your profile. Your experience in investment management and investment banking shows that you have a good understanding of the financial markets, as well as experience in deal-making, communication, and team management. The different accomplishments you have highlighted show that you are a capable and competitive professional.

Extra-curricular involvement: These can be used to showcase leadership skills and commitment to making a positive impact in the community.

With these strengths, you have a good chance of getting into top MBA programs that you have mentioned. You need to have crystal clear clarity on why you need the MBA from the specific school to reach your PE goal. However, competition for these programs is very high, and the only way to know is to take the plunge and apply.

If you're looking for more realistic and safe school options, here are a few schools you may want to consider:

University of Virginia Darden School of Business
Duke University Fuqua School of Business
Emory University Goizueta Business School
University of North Carolina Kenan-Flagler Business School
Georgetown University McDonough School of Business

All of these schools are highly respected and have strong finance curriculum and initiatives focused on finance.

This is just a general evaluation. Admission to all these schools depends on many factors including your application (short answers and other components), essays, recommendations, and interview performance.

Good luck!

Hey, this seems like a great profile for a top school, but I believe more in-depth review would be required to get an idea of the odds to get into the schools
