Kindly help me in my profile evaluation for MBA application 2025:
Academic background:
1-GMAT focus edition score: 695 (Q90, DI83, V81)
2-Qualified Chartered Accountant (First Attempt both group)-January 2019
3-CFA Charterholder (June 2022)
4-Graduation BCOM Hons (60%)) school of open learning delhi university
Work experience:
1-Currently working with a Top 3 buy side investment management firm as senior research associate since June 2022 (2yrs+), working directly with equity research analyst and portfolio managers, covering stock in US and European markets, attending one to one investor call with US and european companies CEO, CFO and investor relation managers. Major accomplishment include recommending stocks to portfolio managers that performed more than 100% (best performing in the portfolio).Awarded best team player for
2-1 year of work experience working with UBS covering european insurance sector working directly with analyst: writing research reports, preparing financial models and doing industry thesis
3-1 year of work experience working with Spark capital as equity research associate covering Indian markets and doing forensic and ESG research for Foreign institutional investors.
4-9 months work experience as investment banking associate with nangia andersen private limited, working on fundraising for a SAAS startup, handling IM drafting, pitch-book prepration, model drafting.
ECS and hobbies:
1- Participated in various plantation drives, conducting classroom sessions for underprivileged students though corporate social responsibility activities of fidelity.
2-Working with Chegg as Subject AQ expert, helping students with their accountancy and finance queries, helping more than 200 students with their accounting and finance questions.

Hi,
Good profile overall. You picked the right b-schools that are known for finance and will help you in your post MBA employment. You'll need to delve more into the career goals though- both PE and HF are extremely niche, even at top b-schools and breaking in will be a challenge without previous WE in these fields. Another aspect to research further would be - which of your target MBA programs will accept a BCOM degree from an open institute. Some of them will want full time university experience, and possibly a 4 year education - so these are just some hygiene checks you will want to make prior to submitting applications. The CA+CFA qualification is a definite plus and ties in well with your work experience as well as, it will support your academic undergrad transcript.
