answer is c ) -1.04

just substitute x =.2 in expression and we get the asnwer

3\(x^2\) = 3*.2*.2 = 0.12
1.3x = 1.3*.2 = .26

3\(x^2\) - 1.3x - 0.9 = 0.12 - 0.26 - 0.9 = -1.04

Given, 3x^2−1.3x−0.9 at x=0.2

= 3*0.04-0.26-0.9 = 0.12-0.26-0.90 = -1.04. So, It is C. :)

3x^2−1.3x−0.9
=x(3*0.2 -1.3) -0.9
=0.2*-0.7 -0.9

To make the calculation easy I will convert the decimal form into fraction form
x = 0.2 = 2/10
3x^2 - 1.3x - 0.9
3x^2 - 13x/10 - 9/10
Substituting the value of x in the equation
3* (2/10)^2 - (13/10)*(2/10) - 9/10
= 3*(4/100) - 26/100 - 9/10
= 12/100 - 26/100 - 9/10
= -104/100
= -1.04
The correct answer will be C
