not sufficient
Stmt 2 : 2(a-b) = 2
a-b = 1
a =b+1
so a and b are consecutive . Sufficient

2a - 2b = 2
Divide equation by 2, we get,
a-b = 1
Difference between a and b is 1. Hence a and b are consecutive integers
Answer is Option B
